Hi, I'm Catherine!
I’m a mom of three, a caregiver, a business owner and the one managing the household behind the scenes.
As a Hmong daughter, I grew up learning how to be everything for everyone.
I was taught to be quiet, respectful, and self-sacrificing. To stay in the background. To protect my family’s honor. To let the men in my life lead. I learned early how to work harder, hold more, and endure quietly.
For a long time, I believed that success only came through sacrifice. That upbringing followed me into adulthood, leadership, and business. And over time, I lost my energy, my voice, and alignment.
I didn’t want success to mean constant self-sacrifice. And I didn’t want to build a business while watching my kids grow up from the sidelines. Thriving Dot was created from that realization. I believe women carrying cultural and family expectations deserve to grow businesses without burning themselves out.
I’ve spent over 10 years in marketing, with the last 8+ years in tech, managing multi-figure budgets and helping generate over $5 million in revenue. I’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and how overwhelming marketing can feel when it’s not done right.
That’s why I work with women business owners.
I know the load running a business, caring for family, managing a home, and carrying the mental list no one sees. It takes real power to do all of that and still show up for your dreams.
I created Thriving Dot to support women like you with simple marketing strategies that fit your life and proven to work.

Catherine is the CEO & Founder of Thriving Dot, a mother of three, and a former Olympic weightlifter. She's passionate about helping women business owners grow without the overwhelm.
Outside of work, she loves roller coasters, thriller movies, spicy food, and matcha lattes.

Digital Marketing Specialist & UX Designer
Amiee is certified in UX Design and holds a degree in English Language and Literature. She designs websites and creative assets that help your business stand out.
Outside of work, she creates digital art and specializes in tiny tattoos at The Brow Bar.
